Join me in downtown Spokane’s Riverfront Park for a relaxed, hands-on Fly Fishing 101 lesson—perfect for absolute beginners. We won't be catching fish in this lesson—this lesson is designed to help you get out onto the water and fishing on your own. No fishing license, prior experience, or gear needed—I’ll provide the rods, reels, and lines for up to two people.
In this 2-hour lesson, you’ll learn:

Walk and Wade LEsson
Offered Tuesdays through Fridays, from late May to mid-October
Join me on a specialized 4-hour walk-and-wade fly fishing lesson designed specifically for those wanting to master fishing the Spokane River. This hands-on, on-the-water session focuses on enhancing your skills in casting, reading river currents, safely navigating slippery rocks, choosing effective fly patterns, knot tying, and rigging setups. You'll also gain insights into perfecting fly presentation and pinpointing prime fishing locations along the Spokane River.
We'll dive into any specific fly fishing techniques you're interested in—indicator fishing, euro nymphing, dry-dropper rigs, streamer fishing, and more. This trip is ideal for those of you that are looking to deepen and improve your skills at fly fishing the Spokane River. Come ready to boost your confidence and take your angling abilities to the next level!
Due to the slippery nature of the Spokane River, participants must bring their own waders and felt-bottom wading boots. These boots are essential for your safety and comfort during the lesson.
Walk and Wade Cost
